Following the article in Nouvelles Calédoniennes published on Friday 16 September about the national strike carried out by the National Union of Air Traffic Controllers, the company would like to point out that the necessary efforts have been made to limit the consequences of this movement that was out of their hands.
The flight schedule for September 16 had to be modified to meet the request of the Civil Aviation Authority (addressed to all airlines) to comply with the applicable minimum service.
Therefore, of the 26 Air Calédonie flights scheduled for September 16, only 6 were canceled and 13 flights were modified. All passengers in question were notified by text or email based on the contact details given during the flight reservation, and transfer solutions were offered to them.
