Your reservation entitles you to a free baggage allowance which varies according to the fare class of the ticket chosen.
The baggage allowance varies depending on the fare class of your ticket, and the details of your allowance are specified on your travel memo (1 piece of 12 or 23kg). As of today, purchasing excess baggage at the check-in counter is not possible. If you wish to carry cargo whose total weight exceeds that of the allowance, you will still have the option to subscribe to the additional baggage package.

What can I put in my checked baggage?
For security reasons, some items require a specific declaration to be transported by air, or are not allowed. Check what you can take in your checked baggage by consulting the list of prohibited/regulated products.
This limitation on baggage is part of our commitment to improving customer satisfaction. Excess baggage, especially in the event of unforeseen circumstances, has consequences on operations and its management can often be complicated. This includes longer loading times, offloading of baggage, and potential damage. In order to optimize baggage handling, the airline is suspending the purchase of excess baggage at check-in counters and requesting customers to adhere to the allowance stated on their ticket (1 bag of 12 kg or 1 bag of 23 kg depending on the fare class).
In this case, you have two options:
- Reserve an additional baggage package through our website from your personal account or through our agents at the agency or over the phone. This option is available up to 4 hours before the scheduled departure of your flight.
- Send your excess baggage at a lower cost through our freight service by depositing your packages a few days before your departure.
Our freight counters extend their hours so that you can drop off your excess baggage up to 40 minutes before the flight departure.

Your baggage will be sent on the first available flight for shipping. Therefore, it is advisable to plan ahead and submit your items to the cargo counter in advance.
If you don’t have a container, bags are available for purchase at the cargo counter.

If your luggage needs to be offloaded due to inclement weather conditions, they will be re-routed on the earliest available flight within 24 hours. You will be notified via SMS about the availability of your baggage or its delivery to your place of stay, if feasible.
