Isle of Pines : Gradual redemption of flights

Following the confirmation of the lifting of the blockages at Moué Aerodrome, Air Calédonie announces the gradual resumption of its flights to and from Île des Pins starting Monday, March 30, 2026.

The rotation scheduled for the morning of Monday, March 30 will be maintained as follows:

TY401: departure from Nouméa – La Tontouta at 09:40, arrival in Moué – Île des Pins at 10:20
TY402: departure from Moué – Île des Pins at 10:50, arrival in Nouméa – La Tontouta at 11:30

Given the uncertainties regarding the evolution of demand, the upcoming flight schedule will be adjusted progressively over the coming days.

Passengers wishing to travel are encouraged to check available flights and make their bookings online at www.air-caledonie.nc or by phone at +687 25 21 77, during call center opening hours.

The airline reminds customers that vouchers issued since March 2 can be used for any new booking or modification.

Regarding freight operations, parcel drop-off will be possible at the Nouméa – Magenta freight counter starting Monday morning, for shipment on flights in the following days. Freight office opening hours are available on the airline’s website.

Domestic airport blockades – flight cancellations

Air Calédonie is once again forced to cancel all flights to and from the Loyalty Islands and the Isle of Pines on March 6, 2026, due to the ongoing blockades affecting several domestic destinations.

The airline informs passengers that, given the uncertainty surrounding the duration of these disruptions and after several consecutive days of cancellations, the automatic transfer of passengers to the next available flight is suspended in order to prioritize individualized case processing:

Affected passengers will receive a text message with a link to a form allowing them to indicate their choice (immediate transfer, rescheduling, refund, or other request).

The airline encourages its customers to use the online form to ensure personalized service tailored to each situation. Call center agents (tel: 25 21 77) are also fully mobilized to assist affected customers.

Air Calédonie thanks its customers for their patience and understanding in the face of this situation beyond its control.

Due to technical issues, Air Calédonie informs its passengers of the cancellation of flight TY915 / SB3240 scheduled for Thursday, 5 March 2026 to Port Vila (VLI).

In order to accommodate passengers as quickly as possible, an additional flight has been scheduled:

  • Flight TY915 / SB3240 – Friday, 6 March 2026
    Departure at 09:30 am
