Maré – flight cancellations

Due to a blockade implemented at Maré aerodrome, the airline is compelled to cancel its scheduled flights to and from the layover destination. The following flights are affected:

  • TY107, bound for Maré departing from Nouméa-Magenta at 06:30
  • TY108, bound for Nouméa-Magenta departing from Maré at 07:40
  • TY117, bound for Maré departing from Nouméa-Magenta at 18:30
  • TY118, bound for Nouméa-Magenta departing from Maré at 19:40

Isle of Pines: Flights on August 19th and 20th

As the operational conditions have been met, the airline has introduced 4 new rotations to Isle of Pines spread between Saturday, August 19th and Sunday, August 20th:

Situation on the Isle of Pines

The manager of the Isle of Pines airport has just notified the partial closure of the facility until August 20th inclusive. As a result, the company is obliged to cancel all its flights to this destination during this period.

Isle of Pines – Resumption of flights

With the airport of the Isle of Pines once again operational this morning, the company is making every effort to resume its regular flights.

Passengers who already have their confirmed reservations will be given priority for travel, and the available seats are now open for booking.

Isle of Pines Airport : Passenger rerouting

On Saturday, August 12th, the South Province will charter the Betico for a passenger rerouting rotation for those stranded on the Isle of Pines.

Passengers affected by flight cancellations are requested to visit the Betico office, located at the Tourism Office in Kuto Bay, to register on the passenger list and to receive travel information.

Passengers whose flights to Isle of Pines have been canceled and who are stuck in Nouméa are asked to report to the Nouméa maritime station before 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 12th, to register on the passenger list and to receive travel information.

Isle of Pines – Ticket Modifications [Update August 14th]

Since Monday, August 7th, the company has been forced to cancel its flights to the Isle of Pines due to a protest movement that is preventing the operation of the aerodrome. The airport blockade is still ongoing, and Air Calédonie is not allowed to operate its flights.

Passengers affected by the cancellation of their flight(s), regardless of the fare class of their purchased tickets, can:

  • reschedule their tickets without penalty fees until November 30, 2023, if booked within the same fare category as originally reserved;
  • request a refund for their tickets without penalty fees (excluding non-refundable service fees).

Passengers booked on our flights to the Isle of Pines until August 21th can request an early rescheduling of their trip without penalty fees until November 30th, 2023, if booked within the same fare category as originally reserved.
